Each Retreat at Hogsback will have a different Theme, process inner work, different rituals and also different out door activities.

The Theme for these retreat will be to activate more soul creativity, soul potential and soul purpose. A weekend to activate more authentic soul power and soul intelligence for higher levels soul support and soul guidance to show you your true calling and purpose in this life.

The full theme will be discussed when we meet on the Saturday to open the retreat.


This two day retreat will take place in the heart of Hogsback Valley. Situated in the beautiful Eastern Cape, this reserve is dominated by three ridges said to resemble the bristle's on a hog's back. Come enjoy its indigenous forest, the great angling, waterfalls, horse-rides, fairytale streams, mystical forests and various walks.

This weekend will be about remembering you true souls origin and how to effectively ground your own souls power, creativity and step in to higher levels of soul responsibilty and soul love.

Spending time in Hogsback during this retreat will allow you to look at you own fears and self sabotaging patterns that are preventing you from stepping into your own souls contracts and power.

Joshua Maree, Shamanic Master Healer & Priest will guide you through a weekend of awakening and the anchoring of bringing Heaven to Earth, for the Planet and also in your own life.

ACCOMMODATION:
I wil be staying in a Self Catering Unit Cottage @ 'THE EDGE" where we will also do all the teachings & get together for the retreat. I
have on double room in my cottage available with your own bathroom and also beautiful kitchen. Please contact me for further details. There are loads of places literally minutes walk away from the place where we will be staying. Cost is R250 for the evening per person.

  The retreat will start @ 09h20.
You need to decide if you want to stay Saturday and Sunday evening and check out Monday morning, or stay the friday and Saturday evening, but need then to check out Sunday morning before 11 am and then leave to go back home after the retreat Sunday evening 17h00. Please make sure that you are on time the Saturday. Registration and payment is @ 09h00- 09h15 ONLY. Thank you.
Accommodation can be booked  @ 'The Edge' Mountain Retreat. Bookings can be made on 0459621159 through Tisha. A Single Room with delicious breakfast will cost you R385 and for a double room will breakfast will cost you R310 per person. For parents with children, you can book 'The Pine Oak' for R600 for the night, two double rooms to sleep 4 people. JUST remember to say you booking for Joshua Maree's Retreat.

At "The Edge" in the village of Hogsback, we have self-catering cottages and non self-catering en-suite garden rooms, in a fifteen acre garden.From the edge of the cliff, which runs along the side of the property, there are spectacular views of surrounding mountains and a deep gorge with beautiful, unspoilt indigenous forest and fascinating swirling mists and cloud formations.

FOOD:
If you stay in self catering unit Cottages, you can bring your own food. There are also loads of restaurants in Hogsback to enjoy. This is a weekend to really relax and to recharge and to enjoy the beautiful surroundings.
